It is with sadden hearts on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, at St. Boniface Hospital the family announces the passing of Jeanne Drebit at the age of 80 years.
Jeanne was born at St. Boniface Hospital on February 21, 1945.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Richard (Krista) and Lisa (Dom), and her beloved grandchildren, Jean-Marc, Gilles, and Luc. She also leaves many family and friends.
Jeanne was predeceased by her loving husband Edward, her parents, Hilaire and Yvette Gobeil, her in-laws, Metro and Tillie Drebit, brothers-in-law, Bill, Victor, and Peter Drebit, nephew Norm, great-niece Delylah.
Flowers are gracefully declined. Family and friends wishing to contribute to her memory can donate to Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of their choice.
A special thank-you to her homecare workers.
A memorial service will be held at St. Bernadette Parish on March 13, 2026 at 11:00 a.m.
